I offer a prayer of Thanksgiving to the Lord for providing His Grace to help me stop drinking alcohol, which He did overnight, removing all cravings & then again 4 months later the Lord helped me stop smoking, again He did this overnight & removed all cravings. My son Brandon is suffering so much (physically, mentally, and spiritually). He is so lost and feels he is a failure and that he has wasted his life and he is only 24. He feels he has nothing to live for. Please pray for him and pray that he will return to Church and a relationship with God. And that he will start to take appropriate action to get himself out of this overwhelming fear and hatred of himself.

I make these petitions through the victorious Lady of La Naval.
I fervently pray for the healing and the return of my beloved Joseph. Please lift him of his depression/mid life crisis. Help him overcome his problems, esp his financial burdens.
Remove him please, from the environment of vice & women, and cover him, O dearest Lady of La Naval with the mantle of your protection. Keep him away from temptation.
I ask that he remembers me for the love/devotion before all these travails set in. Grant his return to me on your feast of La Naval, and please help us overcome all the setbacks to this episode. I hope and pray for our sacramental union after all these have come to pass.

Please pray for my Son and his partner who is expecting a baby any time. They seem to be going through a rough patch and the hormones are flying. Please also pray for a healthy baby and for them to be more at peace.

Dearest Lord

We pray for those who sell their sexuality for money. For those who do this out of desperation, reassure them with the knowledge of thy true love. For the others, bring them to the realisation that sexuality is a God-given gift to express love and true affection and that love can never be sold or bought. We pray for those children and young people who are sexually abused. May they find true affection and hope in you. May the abusers thinking less of themselves and more of others.

We pray especially for Suzanne Blamires who was found murdered, Shelley Armitage, and Susan Rushworth who are still missing in Bradford UK, and that these women will leave the streets Lord and come in to your arms. We pray that society will help those suffering from addiction and the need to feed the habit which forces them on the streets. We pray they will know our uncondtional love, as you have given us your unconditional love Lord.

The sex industry is a terrible blight on the whole world Lord, send your Holy Spirit to lead and guide those poor souls who feel they have no way out, home to your heart.

a prayer of thankgiving - Daves leg has healed enough for him to walk and drive, and he is returning to work soon,

After tearing three muscles in his leg. The doctors said they could repair one muscle, and have a go at two muscles but there was nothing they could about repairing three torn muscles. I feared that dave would be disabled and unable to return to his job in sports development.

I thank you all for your prayers, and I offer a prayer of thankgiving to the Lord for all his help at this time of need.

I request special prayers for Andrea Kirkbride who is the National Director of Mary's Meals in Malawi. She is one of St Joseph's parishioners and needs special support at a very critical moment.
